Tips for Packing and Shipping

verzend service

We ship your parcel with insurance

Your package is covered against loss or damage up to a certain amount, depending on the value of the contents. This means that if something goes wrong during transport, you can expect compensation for the damage or loss of your package.

1. Packing Your Device

First, the device needs to be packed in a sturdy box. If you don't have one, you can order shipping boxes online.

  • Ensure there is at least 5 cm of space between the item and the sides of the box.
  • Take the time to individually wrap each item and use sufficient cushioning material.
  • If possible, use the original packaging of your device.
  • Seal the box with plastic or nylon tape, at least five centimeters wide. Avoid using duct tape.

If you have a flight-case or other sturdy case for the device, place it in a suitable box for additional protection.

2. Check Size and Weight

  • Determine the length, width, and height. The longest side of the package is the length.
  • Make sure to round up to the nearest centimeter when measuring.
  • Weigh your package and record all the information.

If the goods don't weigh enough for the bathroom scale to provide an accurate figure, you can weigh yourself with and without the package, then subtract the difference to determine the weight of the package.

Contact us for packages heavier than 30 kg or larger than 100x50x50 cm (LxWxH).

3. Provide the information

4. Apply the shipping label

  • After you have paid the shipping costs, you will receive the shipping label. (The return shipping costs will be invoiced along with the repair.)
  • Make sure your shipping label is printed clearly, not too bold or too hastily.
  • Affix the shipping label to the largest side of the box, in the upper right corner.
  • Apply your shipping label on a flat surface. Do not place the label on a seam, tear edge, or closure.
  • Ensure only one barcode is visible on your package. Remove any old stickers with barcodes.

5. Shipping the package

Take the package to the nearest drop-off point. The carrier is indicated on the shipping label.
